Episode 23 - On this week's episode of Pillow Talk With Bros, Joe and his guest, the Mahogany Butterfly, aka Donovan Woods, talk about how to handle the duality of our humanity, and why it’s the acceptance of, not the the erasure of femininity that makes us stronger.

We give a run down on some of the standards other men have tried to thrust upon us growing up, how growing up black affected Donovan's masculinity, and if we ever felt like we had to over exaggerate masculine traits to be accepted.

Drink of the Day - Joe is drinking a Slipstream Double India Pale Ale from Salt Flats Brewing Company located in Salt Lake City, UT, and Donovan is helping his melanin glow by drinking an effervescent cucumber water.

BIPOC Business of the Week - Today we want to give a shoutout to the company Beauty Melanin based out of Atlanta, GA. They make quality jewelry that help you Rep your Roots! Donovan stumbled upon an ad for them on Instagram and fell in love with his gold Africa chain that helps ground him to his ancestors. They are African owned, African appreciative, and African Approved!
